The owner of this pub in Alton had recently begun renovating the building and to compliment the works inside he decided to make a more user friendly space outside for use in good weather.
The site was cleared of the soft topsoil and taken away by a muck-away truck before being levelled over with type 1 limestone and compacted down. 0-6mm limestone was then fine spread and levelled over the type 1. A weed supressing membrane was pinned into position before the Artificial Grass Green Fresh, was cut into place. A Power brush forces kiln dried sand into the pile of the grass and acts as a finishing layer to weigh the grass into place.
After this Project was complete, the Pub was open to the public and the outdoor space has been utilised to its maximum potential without the worry of muddy patches forming or potential slip hazards to customers.
